Technical support is offered in the areas of contacts and arbitration, employment law, insurance and health and safety. This is carried out via the circulation of Member Briefings and meetings.

A Member helpline is also available to provide information and technical support in these areas.

Sector Benefits
AIC provides a united voice for the fertiliser sector at UK and European levels. Our work and commitment in the sector provides key benefits to our Members (see list of achievements).

Lobbying
Lobbying is managed and carried out by the sector head and relevant specialists both within and outside Member organisations. Relevant Government departments and trade associations are contacted both in the UK and Europe regarding various trade issues including existing and forthcoming legislation.

Full representation is made by AIC representatives regarding the specific trade issues and reported back to the relevant AIC committee and to organisations via AIC Member Briefings.

Other areas of activity which achieve effective lobbying include the release of AIC policy briefings, direct stakeholder meetings and press releases.
