AIC and QS have agreed mutual recognition of audits between the German QS system and UFAS, TASCC & FEMAS.

In order for participants in AIC schemes to sell to QS companies, they are required to register through the QS website:

To register, you need to accept the terms and conditions of data storage (this part of the site is only currently in German, and then click Next and complete the details required. When asked about a scheme, AIC should appear as an option the list. After completing the registration process you will be emailed a QS ID and a password for the website, and your company will appear on the QS register search.

This registration is free and does not require any additional audits.

QS Companies that wish to sell into the UK market, are required to notify QS of this, and appear as a separate list in the QS register search. AIC scheme participants wishing to check the status of a company claiming to be QS Certified and approved for export to the UK should go to: https://qs-platform.info/QSSoftware/start/do and click the "QS-certified companies recognized by AIC" button. This will bring up a list of all QS companies that have registered.
