This response gives AICs views on the implementation of the Sustainable Use Directive and two measures relating to the provision of public information on pesticides under the Regulation for placing plant protection products on the market. The legislation is expected to come into force on toward the end of 2011.

AIC members are very concerned regarding the possible non-inclusion of trifluralin in Annex 1 leading to the withdrawal of the product in the UK. Trifluralin is an extremely important herbicide to UK growers for the reasons listed.......
