The FSA is consulting on the EC proposal to modernise and simplify legislation on the marketing and use of animal feed; AIC will discuss feed industry implications with the FSA.

"Bt 63" - FSA Issues More Advice

The FSA has issued more advice to food and feed business operators in relation to rice and rice products contaminated with the unauthorised genetically modified organism "Bt 63", in particular the requirement to inform enforcement authorities if such rice has left their possession and initiate procedures to withdraw and recall it.

New Driver CPC Given Go-ahead

With effect from 10th September 2009, all lorry drivers will be required to hold a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence in addition to their vocational driving licence.
